“I haven’t failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” -Thomas Edison
You may notice I’m posting rather late in the day. I looked at today’s quote this morning, and it inspired me to get back to work on my novel, Frost. I’ve been hammering away at this one story for over ten years now. It has been through thousands of iterations, every tense and POV imaginable, outlines, writes, re-writes, deconstructions, re-plannings, and re-outlining. I can honestly say I’ve found the 10,000 ways this particular story won’t work.
I’m hoping that this year’s iteration will be the one that I can finally release as a full-length novel, both in paperback and e-book. No matter how long it takes, don’t give up on your calling.
