“Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?” -Matthew, 6:25-26
I believe that, for those of us seeking to heed our respective callings, this Biblical quote holds a very important message. When we are leading the kind of life God intended us to live, He will provide for us. I feel like this is absolutely true.
When you are pursuing your calling, you achieve a sense of fulfillment that can’t be had otherwise. If you’re fulfilling that calling, God will take care of the rest. I’m investing myself in my calling to write. I am constantly trying to learn and become better at what I do, and I want to share these things with y’all, too.
I want to encourage you to find your calling, and take whatever leap of faith you have to take to truly pursue it. I know it can seem scary, but I have absolute faith that the Lord will provide opportunities for you to succeed in your calling. Otherwise, why would He call you to do it?
